The Audit Chamber of Ukraine (ACU) is a legal entity that carries out professional self-government of auditing activities. Quality control is carried out by the Quality Control Committee (APU) or the Quality Control Inspectorate (OSNAD). Small and medium-sized audit firms are audited once every 5 years. Large firms are inspected once every 3 years.
How does this happen?
This is a rather complex process of analyzing internal documents. We compile them during the audit activities. It is the external quality control that makes it clear that we are doing everything correctly, in accordance with the International Standards on Auditing and Other Auditing Services and the Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants.
It's scary and nice to pass this control.
