The law regulates the functioning and use of the Ukrainian language as the only state language in the spheres of social life throughout Ukraine. From January 16, 2021, all institutions that provide services or sell goods, without exception, must use the Ukrainian language.

The government has changed the procedure for maintaining the Register of nonprofit institutions and organizations. During the state registration of a legal entity in the relevant application, the applicant will be able to indicate the request for inclusion to the Register of non-profit institutions and organizations without submitting a separate application.

Finance Ministry said that this news concerns the people on lower incomes, who hope to receive subsidies and benefits.
