According to our observations, there are many people who do not really know how to rest. Most just can't afford such a luxury as rest. That is why in accounting there are huge amounts of reserves for vacations.


The State Labor Service of Ukraine monitors this and informs that for each working year the employee must use 24 calendar days of annual basic leave.

At the request of the employee for a certain working year, the employee is provided with 24 calendar days of vacation, and only for the decided days of additional annual leave, which are in accordance with the labor leave, which will not combine the working employee for the work itself.

For example, if an employee is entitled to a holiday basis of 24 calendar days, and he does not use the leave for 2018 and 2019, and wishes to take 24 calendar days of annual basic leave for 2018, and for 24 calendar days of annual basic leave for 2019 to receive monetary compensation without be fired, then such an operation is unacceptable.

Therefore, for the purposes of receiving monetary compensation without be fired the amount of the duration of annual leave for different working years is not allowed. In this case, when the employee can not be paid monetary compensation, so the employee is not fired and his annual vacation takes only 24 calendar days, and the other 24 days have no additional vacation days, and is the main vacation for another working year.


Maybe this decision of the State Labor Service makes people think that all the money in the world does not earn, so the legal 24 days of vacation need real rest, fill themselves with energy and return to work full of energy and enthusiasm.
